What is the EverybodyRX Card?

The EverybodyRX Card is a FREE pharmacy discount drug card powered by Medicare.com that can help you save up to 70% on all your prescription medications. Simply present the card or a printout of your signup confirmation to the pharmacist to receive a discount on your prescriptions. There are other discount cards in the marketplace and you want to be certain to get your discount drug card from a reputable source for free. Some providers will claim up to 85% discounts which are possible with the EverybodyRX card but rarely achieved in today’s marketplace.

Is the EverybodyRX Card insurance?

No, the EverybodyRX Card is not insurance, which is why the card is completely free. There are no claim forms to fill out and no limit to the number of times you can use the card. And there will never be any charges or hidden fees when you use the card.

I do not have insurance. How can the EverybodyRX Card help me?

Millions of people in the U.S. lack insurance coverage to purchase prescription medications. If you do not have insurance at all, or you have limited drug coverage, you may be paying high, out-of-network prices for your prescription drugs. I already have insurance. Can the EverybodyRX Card still help me?

Yes, the card can also help you save money by supplementing, or adding to, your existing coverage. Although you can’t use both cards together, you can ask the pharmacist to price all your prescriptions using our card and your insurance card—simply select the one that provides the lowest out-of-pocket cost to you. And even if you have a comprehensive insurance plan, you can benefit from the EverybodyRX Card by saving on drugs that are not covered by your plan.

Can I still use my prescription discount card if I sign up for a Medicare prescription plan?

Yes, you can use the EverybodyRX card anytime you need to purchase a prescription that is not covered by your Medicare prescription plan or any other insurance. However, you should carefully review these important limitations in order to get the most value from both a discount drug card and your Medicare prescription drug benefit.

How do I use the card to get a discount?

Just give your EverybodyRX Card to the pharmacist when you pay for your prescriptions. The card has all the information the pharmacist needs to process your prescription electronically and apply your discount (you will pay the lower of a discounted price or the pharmacy’s regular retail price). If your pharmacist isn't familiar with our prescription drug discount card or has questions, please have him or her call the phone number on the back of the card.

How do I use this discount card with my current insurance?

If you have insurance, you should bring both your insurance ID card and EverybodyRX Card or temporary print-out to your pharmacist. It’s important to ask the pharmacist to tell you which gives you the better price. Our card cannot add discounts to any discounts you are already receiving from your current insurance provider, nor can it reduce your copayment. However, many insurance plans do not cover drugs for which we provide discounts—you can save the most when you use the EverybodyRX Card to fill prescriptions for drugs that are not covered by your insurance plan.

Does using this card count toward my insurance deductible?

If you have a deductible with a health insurance plan, the purchases you make using this card will probably not count toward your deductible. If you have a health savings account (HSA or HRA) with a high-deductible health plan, and the EverybodyRX Card lowers the costs of your prescriptions, using the card may count toward your deductible. If you have health coverage of any kind, we suggest you contact your insurance company to confirm this information, because not all insurance plans are the same.

What type of discounts can I expect?

Discounts will vary based on the type of prescriptions you have. Discounts can range up to 70% off the retail price, but the average discount on brand name prescriptions is over 35% while generic discounts average 15%. See real savings using the EverybodyRX card.

What if the discount I receive is different than what I expected?

Drug prices differ by drug store and location, so it is always possible that your discount will be different than expected. To avoid any surprises, it’s always best to ask your pharmacist for the exact discount that you will receive before you purchase a prescription. If the discount is very different than what you expected, you may want to check with other pharmacies in your area.

What pharmacies can I use with the card?

We have over 60,000 participating pharmacies in our discount network, including most national chain stores as well as local neighborhood pharmacies.

Can I get a discount if I use this card outside the United States?

No, this card is not accepted outside of the U.S. However, it is accepted at pharmacies in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

What if my pharmacist does not how to use the card?

If your pharmacist isn’t familiar with our prescription drug discounts, please have him or her call the number on the back of the card. Our pharmacist helpline is open 24 hours a day and will assist your pharmacist with the simple process. This number is only available to pharmacists.

Are there any restrictions to using the card?

No, the EverybodyRX Card is not insurance, so everyone can use the card. There are no restrictions for pre-existing conditions, no claim forms, no background health checks, and no maximum benefit limitations.

Does everyone in my family need an individual card?

No, everyone in the family may use the same card for discounts on their prescription drugs.

Can I use this card to get discounts on my pet’s medications?

Yes, if your pet has been prescribed a medication that is also prescribed to humans, you may receive a discount on the medication by using the EverybodyRX Card.

Can I use the card to get discounts on over-the-counter products and non-prescription medications?

Not usually.

I don’t have a printer. How can I get the discount card?

If you can’t print the EverybodyRX Card, you can write down the member ID, GRP, BIN, and PCN information from your temporary card and take them to your pharmacist for the same exact savings. Most libraries provide Internet service and printers, so this is another option if you want to print the temporary card. Additionally, when you fill out this request form, we will send you a plastic card that you can take to the pharmacy to save on your prescriptions.

Can I receive free prescriptions with the EverybodyRX card?

No. However, you may qualify for free medications from state or federal pharmaceutical assistance programs depending on your income or disabilities.
